Who we are
Kingsgate Bid Writing writes tender submissions for construction consultancies. We are responsible for the personal information described in this notice. You can contact us about it through our enquiry form.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry, we receive what you type into the form: your name, your practice, your email address, your phone number if you give it, and your message. If you become a client, we also hold the contact details of the people we work with and any personal information in the documents you send us, such as staff CVs.
How we use it
To reply to your enquiry, to prepare bids and reviews for you if you ask us to, and to keep the records any business needs. We don't sell personal information or use it for anything else.
Our legal basis
For enquiries, our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us. For clients, the steps needed to carry out the work you have asked for. For people named in documents a client sends us, such as staff CVs, our legitimate interest in preparing that client's bid.
Who else handles it
A small number of service providers help us run the business: Formspree, which delivers messages from the enquiry form; our email provider; the cloud storage and software we use to prepare drafts; Vercel, which hosts this website and keeps short-lived technical logs, including IP addresses, for security; and Google Fonts, which supplies the typefaces on this website and so receives your IP address when a page loads. Some of these providers may store data outside the UK, under the safeguards UK data protection law requires for international transfers. We don't share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to work are deleted within twelve months. Material from clients is handled under our confidentiality undertaking. It is deleted or returned whenever you ask, and in any case once we no longer need it for your work.

This website does not set cookies or use analytics.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to how we use it. Send your request through the enquiry form. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
